This appeal arises out of the defendant, Willie Mae Scott's, December 8, 1983, guilty pleas to 12 charges of issuing worthless checks in violation of La.R.S. 14:71.

Previously, on January 27, 1983, the defendant had pleaded guilty to five counts of issuing worthless checks. She was sentenced, which sentence was conditionally suspended, and she was placed on supervised probation for eighteen months...
