¶ In March, 1981, plaintiff commenced this action for divorce alleging cruel and inhuman treatment for the preceding three years. The parties had been married for 23 years and have two teen-age children. ¶ At trial, plaintiff attempted to prove that beginning in late 1978 or early 1979 and until she instituted suit, defendant had on several occasions engaged in conduct which so endangered her physical or mental well-being as to make continued cohabitation unsafe...
