This is an appeal from orders of the trial court in a wrongful conversion action. We affirm in part and reverse and remand in part.

The plaintiff, William Gross (Gross), was the owner of a 1976 Chevrolet automobile. Because of damage to the vehicle, Gross hired Terry Durham to repair it.
