This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of Hinds County wherein Roosevelt Mason was indicted, tried and convicted for the October 9, 1981, aggravated assault of Robert M. Lambert. The offense for which Mason was charged arose out of an armed robbery of the Flamingo Motel wherein Robert Lambert, the proprietor of the business establishment, was shot twice.
