This is an appeal from a conviction for voluntary manslaughter (Pen. Code, § 192).

Sometime between October and November 1979, Pablo and Ruth Aguirre rented a house to the decedent, Adolfo Landa. The rent for the premises was to be due on the 10th day of each month.
