On March 7, 1981, ABC Charters (ABC) chartered the PENNY, a 28-foot pleasure craft, to Dr. Ian Shaw. Thereafter, Dr. Shaw, accompanied by Doris Weyer, proceeded on the PENNY from Anacortes to Roche Harbor where the vessel berthed for the evening.
