The plaintiff Ms. Everitt, a black woman who was discharged from her position with the city police department, appeals from the dismissal of her action against the City of Marshall, Texas, and various of its officials. Her suit is based upon alleged violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., as well as of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983.
