This is the second time that defendant's appeal is before us. On defendant's initial appeal, his conviction of aggravated rape and his sentence to life imprisonment were affirmed on original hearing and again on rehearing. However, this court granted a second rehearing and, although again affirming the conviction, remanded the matter to afford defendant an opportunity to introduce evidence in support of his motion for a new trial.
