The defendants, Greg and Dawn Lange, were charged with attempted murder and other related offenses. They were released on bond after each had posted $10,000 (10% of the $100,000 bond that had been set). The charges were later dismissed. The People appealed. Defendants' bonds pending appeal were then set in the reduced amount of $10,000 each. From the original deposits of $10...
