James Woods was indicted for the crime of kidnapping and rape of R.M. Woods subsequently pleaded no contest to sexual assault in the first degree.1 Because the record established that Woods had committed two prior felonies he was sentenced as a third felony offender for purposes of Alaska's presumptive sentencing scheme.
