Plaintiff instituted this action against his former employer alleging causes of action for fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and breach of duty of good faith dealing. The chief allegation is that defendants misrepresented to plaintiff that a company pension plan was still in effect for the purpose of inducing plaintiff to remain with defendants...
