SCHULTZ, Justice.

In this appeal we are asked to determine whether Iowa Code section 601A.6(1)(a) proscribes employment discrimination based on transsexuality. Petitioner, Audra Sommers, filed two complaints with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission (commission) alleging that she had been discharged because of her transsexual condition. The commission dismissed both complaints for lack of jurisdiction and Sommers appeals from these dismissals. We find no error. Accordingly...
