This Jones Act case comes to us on appeal from the district court's grant of summary judgment for the appellee on the issue of the decedent's seaman status. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.

The decedent, Manton Bouvier, was an employee of the appellee, Avondale Shipyards.1 He held various jobs during the course of his employment, but the only work alleged to have made him a Jones Act seaman was his five-year...
