This is an appeal from a conviction for aggravated assault. Appellant was tried on an indictment charging him with attempted murder. The jury found him guilty of aggravated assault and assessed his punishment at ten (10) years' confinement and a fine of $5,000.00. By this appeal, appellant presents us with the following issues as set out in his grounds of error: (1) whether he was denied a speedy trial; (2) whether there was prejudicial...
