Appellant Wyoming Johnson was the general contractor of a construction project. Appellee Stag Industries, Inc. was a subcontractor; Thomas Doyle, an employee of Stag, was injured on the project. Appellant Aetna Casualty & Surety Company, was the liability insurer for Wyoming Johnson at the time of Doyle's injury, and paid the personal injury settlement and costs of defense.
