OPINION

ROBERTSON, Justice.

Although indicted separately, appellants were jointly tried for the offenses of securing execution of a document by deception as proscribed by the TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 32.46 (Vernon 1974). The jury rejected their pleas of not guilty, found each guilty on four counts alleged in their respective indictments and assessed punishment for each at confinement for a period of five years and a fine of $2,500 on each count.
