Appellant Edwards appeals the denial of his motion for post-conviction relief pursuant to Rule 3.850, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure. He asserts that his court-appointed counsel rendered ineffective assistance by failing to request an instruction on voluntary intoxication. The court gave the standard specific intent instruction.
