The plaintiff, Shirrel Young, initiated this action to quiet title to a small, triangular parcel of land amounting to 6/100's of an acre located in Thistle, Utah County. Although the parties verbally agreed to a settlement of the case and the settlement agreement was reduced to writing by plaintiff's counsel, the writing was not signed by the parties.
