Appellant is the acknowledged target of a federal grand jury proceeding, and one of the subjects of court-authorized electronic surveillance of a certain apartment in Boston. As provided by statute, once the government finished its surveillance, the court told appellant that he had been overheard. See 18 U.S.C. § 2518(8)(d).
