LARSEN, Justice.

In May, 1979, appellant Gilbert Williams was convicted by a jury of murder of the second degree, robbery, aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime. Post-verdict motions were denied and appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, a consecutive term of imprisonment of ten to twenty years for robbery, and a concurrent term of imprisonment of two and one-half to five years for the weapons offense; sentence...
