This is an appeal from the district court's dismissal of a complaint for lack of in personam jurisdiction and failure to respond to a motion to dismiss. According to the complaint brought by Roberto Ayuso Mangual and his wife and child, Ayuso suffered a total disability as a result of his being exposed to lead dust while working at the Carolina, Puerto Rico, plant of General Battery International Corporation (GBIC).
