Defendant's indictment for robbery in the second degree arose out of a purse snatching incident which occurred during the early morning hours of February 21, 1982. After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty as charged and sentenced, as a second felony offender, to a term of incarceration with a minimum of four years and a maximum of eight years.
