This appeal addresses issues concerning the applicability and scope of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (hereinafter CUTPA); General Statutes §§ 42-110a through 42-110q;1 in an action seeking, inter alia, recovery of rental payments obtained in violation of §§ 47a-52 and 47a-573 (formerly § 19-347r) of the General Statutes.
