Defendant Mario J. Gomez appeals from his sentence, following conviction for residential burglary. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 19-3.) Gomez was sentenced to the mandatory minimum for the Class I felony offense, that being four years' imprisonment in the Department of Corrections. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 1005-8-1(a)(4).)
