MEMORANDUM DECISION AND ORDER

SELYA, District Judge.

This is a personal injury action brought by a Massachusetts resident against a Rhode Island corporation; jurisdiction is apparently based on diversity of citizenship pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332.1 The case is before the Court on defendant's motion for summary judgment. In its motion, the defendant contends that the action is time-barred by R.I.G.L. § 9-1-14
