The defendant, Paul Conceicao, was convicted by a jury of the unarmed robbery of Albert LeBoeuf and sentenced to the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Walpole for a term of seven to fifteen years. The defendant appealed and the conviction was affirmed by the Appeals Court in Commonwealth v. Conceicao, 10 Mass.App.Ct. 899 (1980).
