The Industrial Commission's findings are conclusive on appeal when supported by competent evidence. Hilliard v. Apex Cabinet Co., 305 N.C. 593, 290 S.E.2d 682 (1982). Of course, the Commission's conclusions of law fall within the scope of appellate review. Id.
