MOYLAN, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

Far from condemning the alert and diligent efforts of the drug enforcement officers in this case, we applaud them. As a result of their efforts, a significant, high-level functionary in an underworld network importing contraband narcotics from Florida into Maryland has been brought to book.
