COVELLO, J.

This appeal is taken from the judgment rendered following a jury trial at which the defendant was convicted of the crimes of burglary in the third degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-103, and larceny in the third degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-124. The defendant has appealed his convictions alleging that the trial court erred in its instructions to the jury on the matter of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
