Ray Anthony Smith, 16 years of age, was charged as an adult pursuant to LSA-R.S. 13:1570 A(5), by a bill of information, with armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. At the arraignment, represented by the Office of the Public Defender, the accused entered a plea of not guilty. A trial date was set.
