This is an action to collect a "sales tax" allegedly due by defendant on the longterm lease of vehicles to lessees who are domiciled in Lafayette Parish. The primary issues are (1) whether any additional tax is due to the Lafayette Parish School Board on leases of vehicles, when the Iberia Parish lessor had purchased specific vehicles for already negotiated long-term leases with Lafayette Parish domiciliaries...
