GULOTTA, Judge.

Midland Insurance Company (Midland), liability insurer of a host driver, appeals from a $20,110.64 award in favor of a guest passenger for injuries sustained in a rearend collision. Liability and quantum are at issue. Plaintiff has answered the appeal, seeking an increase in general damages to the sum of $65,000.00.
