For the calendar year 1979, respondent determined a deficiency in income tax against petitioner in the amount of $2,581.00, together with an addition to tax in the amount of $129.05, under the provisions of section 6653(a).1 The issues presented are whether petitioner received wages in the calendar year 1979 in the total of $14,305.00 which he failed to report as taxable income in that year...
