These two petitions, filed by three defendants in the same action, challenge the trial court's dismissal of a cross-complaint petitioners had filed against two codefendants. The codefendants had each settled with the plaintiffs for $6,000, and the trial court's dismissal of the cross-complaint was based upon a determination that the settlements were reached in good faith.
