These are two companion lawsuits arising out of a motor vehicle accident on July 4, 1978 at the intersection of Union Avenue and Baltimore Pike, Lansdowne, Pa. The accident involved an automobile operated by Allen J. Peck and a fire engine owned by the Cardington-Stonehurst Fire Company which was driven by David J. Lewis. At the time of the accident the fire truck was responding to an alarm.
