This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of the First Judicial District of Hinds County, Mississippi, wherein the appellant, Walter Ray Sloane, was indicted, tried, and convicted of armed robbery. Following conviction he was sentenced to a term of thirty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections with twelve years suspended, eighteen to serve.
