This appeal arises from a declaratory judgment action commenced by American Family Mutual Insurance Company (American Family) to determine the issue of liability coverage under a homeowner's policy it issued to Dennis and Zelda Ryan. The policy at issue contains a household exclusion clause which excludes any liability coverage for an insured when he or she negligently causes injury to a member of the insured's household.
