This appeal follows a jury verdict in favor of the condemnees in a condemnation case in which the appellant Department of Transportation acquired 3.870 acres from the front of condemnees' farm for highway purposes. Based on a resolution of conflicting evidence as to the value of the land taken and consequential damages to the remaining property, the jury awarded compensation in the amount of $65,000.
