On April 11, 1981, plaintiff-appellee, Guenther Olbrich, had completed his vacation and was preparing to leave the Bahamas for Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with others, he placed his suitcase outside the Club Mediterranee for transportation by air to Miami, Florida.
