Appellant was convicted in a bench trial of aggravated assault and appeals on the general grounds. He also contends the trial court erred by admitting his confession into evidence.

Cook was a passenger in a car and as it was proceeding down a roadway, Cook reached out of the car and hit Ed Mathison, a pedestrian on the roadway, in the back of the head with a stick. The blow caused a severe cut on the back of Mathison's head requiring emergency...
