At issue in this case is the scope of the protection provided by G.L.c. 93A, § 11, which grants the benefits of G.L.c. 93A, commonly known as the Consumer Protection Act, to any person engaged in trade or commerce. The plaintiff commenced this action against his former employer and its sole stockholder alleging, inter alia, that the defendants committed unfair and deceptive acts in connection with an agreement terminating his employment.
