Plaintiffs, Bernard J. Wolak, individually and as next friend of John Wolak, his son, and Susan Wolak, mother of John Wolak, brought this medical malpractice suit against defendants, Dr. Walczak, Dr. Auth, and Garden City Osteopathic Hospital. Plaintiffs alleged that John Wolak, a second-born twin, suffered brain damage and cerebral palsy due to defendants' negligence in failing to use fetal heart monitoring, leaving Mrs. Wolak unattended while in labor...
