The defendant, Miami Beach Association, Inc. (association), is a summer resort community located on the seashore in Old Lyme. The permanent residence of the plaintiffs, Ella L. Stankiewicz and Ronald M. Stankiewicz, is a house upon a lot which fronts on Liberty Street and is bounded on the east by Columbus Avenue and on the west by Washington Avenue.
