Appellants were tried jointly and each convicted of four counts: sexual assault, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and kidnapping. The offenses all arose out of an incident on the night of January 17 and early morning of January 18, 1982. The victim was a 21-year-old student at Central Arizona College.
