On November 3, 1981, appellant, Mark A. Cooper, entered a guilty plea in the Lake County Court of Common Pleas to one count of grand theft and was sentenced to a term of one to five years at the Mansfield Reformatory. The court suspended execution of the sentence and placed appellant on probation conditioned on his attending a drug rehabilitation program at Lakeland Institute, five months at a halfway house with "minimum freedom" for work and medical reasons...
