This appeal is from appellant's conviction for homicide by vehicle. OCGA § 40-6-393 (a) (Code Ann. § 68A-903). After a collision in which a passenger in the other car was killed, appellant was found unconscious beside his car. When appellant remained unconscious after being transported to a hospital, the investigating police officer directed a lab technician to draw a blood specimen.
