GILBERT, C.J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

A jury in the Criminal Court of Baltimore1 convicted Darius LaFarge Curry and Guy Davis of first degree murder, kidnapping and the use of a handgun in a crime of violence. Curry and Davis were each sentenced to life imprisonment and a consecutive forty-five additional years. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
