The plaintiff appeals from an order granting summary judgment in defendant Lynda Wood's favor. Because we disagree with the trial court's ruling that service of process on Lynda Wood was invalid, we reverse and remand for trial.

In July, 1977, by order of the Livingston County Probate Court, Lynda Wood was placed in Murchie House, a halfway house run by the Michigan Children's Aid and Family...
