Defendant, Dennis Grover, was found guilty after a jury trial of rape (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 11-1) in the circuit court of Lake County and was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment, to run concurrently with a previously imposed sentence for theft. He appeals, challenging the admission of an alleged spontaneous utterance by the victim...
