William Harrison Givens, Clarence Fox and Betty Jean Williams were arrested and subsequently indicted for violation of 18 U.S.C. sections 2113(a) and (d), bank robbery. Betty Jean Williams pled guilty and agreed to testify truthfully in return for a promise that her maximum sentence would be three years imprisonment.
